Attack of the Slorgs

Group 3 or more Slorgs togther and they will explode! Kill them all to advance to the next round.

The Game

Goal

Get rid of all the Slorgs before they get into the vegetable garden, it’s as simple as that.

Your Weapon:

The handy dandy Slorgeriser X4, a machine that spits out balls of Slorg-B-Gone.

It slices, it dices, it chops, it pulverizes! Oh, and did I mention that it kills Slorgs?

Each and every Slorgeriser X4 is defective. Your laser will quit after a short while. There is absolutely nothing you can do about it. Use it, while you can, to orient yourself. After that you will be on your own. Keep your eye on the Slorgs and your mind on the goal, and you’ll do just fine!

note: the controls for the Slorgeriser will be reversed if you get a non-pulsating ball that says “Revenge of the Slorgs”, just fire it off the screen to avoid it’s confusing affects

Slorg-B-Gone:

• Super Destruct (pink pulsating ball) -blows up the entire line of Slorgs
• Puddle Splat (grey pulsating ball) -changes all visible Slorgs to one color
• Super Slorgerizer (brown pulsating ball) -blows up the 4 surrounding Slorgs
• Slowdown (green pulsating ball) -temporarily slows the line down
• Slorg Block (blue pulsating ball) -stops the line temporarily
• Multislorg (red pulsating ball) -adds 5 slorgs to the start of the line

Tips and Tricks

Knowing what powerups to use, and when to use them, is the real key to earning loads of points. Never use Slorg Block or Multislorg, they will only impede your game. Tossing a ball at the Quiggle that pops up will give you 25 points, but I suggest ignoring it because it is very distracting trying to time the hit. Your Slorgs will only grow in number while you wait for the Quiggle to pop up.

Killing 10 Slorgs with one shot gives you a x3 bonus! Kill more than 5 and you will get a x2 bonus. Clear the board before the round is up and receive a x2 bonus for the Slorgs you killed to clear it.

Do you ever play Faerie Bubbles? It can really help train your sense of aim!

Never rely on the laser! Keep your eyes on the Slorgs at all times! You will very soon develop your peripheral vision for aiming the Slorgeriser. Once you shoot a ball and see where it ends up, you can tap your arrow key a couple of times and be assured that it will move 2 Slorgs over for your next immediate shot.
