The Game
Goal
Pop all bubbles in each level to advance. 20 levels total.
The Bubbles:
Water - This destroys all water bubbles on the screen.
Light - This changes all bubbles touching the combo to a random colour.
Fire - This burns all non-water bubbles that touch the combo.
Air - This is BAD. Don’t do an air combo, seriously.
Earth - This makes a new line of bubbles appear.
Dark - All the bubbles in the combo will turn to random types.
The Levels:
Level 1 -
Fire and Water bubbles are the most common here, but surprisingly they make it nearly impossible to clear the level without the bar dropping. Restart a few times and try out some of the other combos, you might find one that is easy to clear without the bar dropping even once.
Level 2 -
Get a feel for the aim, and when you get the most common screen with Fire bubbles on the bottom row you will be able to clear this most times by just burning your way through.
Level 3 -
For most people, in most rounds, this will drop once before you clear the level. The most common screen will have Light bubbles at the top, with two other colors flanking the center bubble. If you can, slide one Light bubble up to the middle, then connect one entire side with your next Light bubble. You will be able to clear the rest easily.
See mostly Fire bubbles at the top? You are very lucky. Aim well and this level is over in a few shots - if you can aim well enough to make a grouping of 6 Fire bubbles
Level 4 -
Light or Fire bubbles on the 2nd row? Good. Make a grouping of four in a straight line here and you’re on your way. Do a good job with Fire bubbles and you should have only four bubbles left after your first shot. If you’re lucky you will see more Fire bubbles in your cannon, build a grouping of four and you’re done. If not, you will have a bubble that matches something up there, so aim well and you’ll be done in a couple of shots.
Level 5 -
Color blocks. Color blocks are good. You can do this level on your own. Often you can use the Fire bubbles to make it go just a little faster
Level 6 -
Double double, toil and…no trouble! Don’t sweat it, just make groups of three and they will all be popped soon!
You don’t need excellent aiming skills here, this round will let you catch your breath. Nova bubbles will slow you down, so unless you know you make a clean sweep with one, let it go.
Level 7 -
More doubles? See how easy this game is?
Level 8 -
This is where you have to start to be cautious. While still a relatively easy level, misplaced bubbles will begin to trip you up. Don’t worry, most errors will not cost you the game here.
Water - don’t let a Light combo ruin these gems, if you get an early Light just shoot it off to where it will not change anything.
Fire - best left to burning away Air or Dark chains.
Light - don’t let it ruin your Fire or Water combos, use it when you need it on its own or to change Dark or Air chains to a hopefully more manageable color.
Dark - there are often chains, and if you can place a Dark bubble early on to change the chain to random colors you will be in good standing. Usually this will produce a couple of Fire bubbles that you can soon turn into a grouping of four and burn away a good chunk of bubbles.
Level 9 -
Just work your way up. Most often you have Fire bubbles on the bottom and can quickly make a group of four to burn a hole, and then it’s just a matter of getting rid of the remainders.
Level 10 -
Most of the time there will be a block of Earth bubbles in the middle. Just hit them and get them out of the way, especially if there are enough Fire bubbles that will clear a lot of the extra row you’re given from the Earth bubbles.
From here on out don’t worry about the bar dropping, just concentrate on making clean shots and clearing the level.
Level 11 -
Quite easy, this level just requires good aim to get through quickly. This is really your first experience with a lot of Air bubbles, and you will find that you can get rid of them very easily with Fire or Light bubbles. Should you get an Air bubble to shoot, aim to squeeze it up inside the row; this is a very efficient way of getting rid of the Air bubbles since it will only add about four bubbles to the row. Those will be obliterated by the blocks of Fire very soon
Level 12 -
Did you get Water bubbles for the top row? Excellent! Don’t let the Earth bubbles cause you to get an extra row of bubbles! Whistle a tune while you drop extra bubbles off to the side and out of the way, and work on building up four Water bubbles. You’re done!
Okay, sometimes you will have to work your way up, but you can do it very easily. It doesn’t take a lot of strategy, just think about what will happen with each bubble you place.
A full row of Air bubbles anywhere in this level is a breeze (pardon the pun!). The entire row and everything hanging from it will fall down to the ground beneath your feet. You will pwn.
Level 13 -
Mostly the same as level 12, but the one different colored bubble in the top row makes it take just a little longer. Most often you will have Light or Fire bubbles and this is easily taken care of.
Again, the Air bubbles might just become your friends here
Level 14 -
Now we are down to the nitty gritty. Time for screenshots!

Slowly build up combos, and dangle any colors that don’t have a match on the tail of something you can clear soon. A flat row of four to five Fire bubbles is the only way you will clear this before the bar drops very far.
Use the code Slumberberry here to save yourself when the bar drops very low.
Level 14 is when it starts to get difficult, and your ability to aim and bounce will get you through to the next round. You are not going to make it to 2000 points for the avatar if you use any cheat codes before level 14. You should be able to get good enough to not use them until level 15.
On level 15, moreso than on 14, you have to look at the layout of the bubbles and plan your attack. Take your time from here on out, and don’t toss any bubbles into the wrong place or the game will be over quickly. The game is nice and fair, and you can nearly always count on soon getting a bubble that you need. But wait! You will likely only get one, so place it carefully!
Looking ahead and placing Light and Fire bubbles where you will be able to make combos of 4 will make the levels from 14 clear more quickly. Sometimes the Light bubbles will betray you and turn the surrounding bubbles to Air. This might spell trouble, but work on clearing them without using a cheat.
There is more strategy and skill than luck, but on occasion all your luck runs out and you have blocks of Air or Dark bubbles that will ruin your try for the avatar.
Tips and Tricks
When you have one bubble left and are not getting the bubbles you need to pop that color, make a tail on it with the extra bubbles. Do not shoot random ones to the top, the screen will be tougher to clear. Only shoot one or two up to the top if your are running out of room with the bar dropping - any more and you will find yourself with a game over.
Do you ever play Attack of the Slorgs? It can really help train your sense of aim!
Never rely on the laser! Keep your eyes on the Slorgs at all times! You will very soon develop your peripheral vision for aiming the Slorgeriser. Once you shoot a ball and see where it ends up, you can tap your arrow key a couple of times and be assured that it will move 2 Slorgs over for your next immediate shot.
