Oh, but wait, you are expected by your fellow guild members to treat the entire guild with thoughtfulness and respect. Hah, gotcha, thought you could be naughty, didn’t you!

What SpankysBookWorld Guild Expects of You

First and foremost, Spankys members are expected to abide by the Neopets T&C. We expect you to be a team player, and think of how whatever you do will affect the guild and guild members.

Quickest Ways To Get Banned

Cheating, lying, whining, disrespecting, and/or making things difficult/unpleasant for members or council are always an instant exit out of the guild/guild hangouts.

There is no such thing as a Councilbot

Please remember that the people who run this guild do it on a volunteer basis, and being thoughtful and helpful keeps them from asploding

Should we ever decide to hire robots to run the guild, book deals, and website, you’ll be the first to know.

Hey, I Thought You Said There Were No Rules!

There aren’t! But we do have some guidelines to keep things running smoothly — we do have approximately 2,000 guildmembers besides you.

Message Board Guidelines

• Use Neomail for specific questions or complaints
• Make sure your font is readable to others
• Use common sense
• Due to the limitations of our guild board, chitchat is best left to our forums.
• Leave any reprimanding to council

*Council deletes a zillion posts a day for various reasons, do not take deletion personally.

Forum Guidelines

The Forum is a terrific place to meet your fellow guildies, get your questions answered, and share great book deals.

• Absolutely no flaming, mocking, or generally unpleasant behaviour is tolerated
• You must add your Neopets Lookup URL as your website; this is an extension of our guild board
• Use common sense
• This is a great place for chitchat
• Selling or buying books at fair prices? By all means post!

Chatroom Guidelines

Please read the rules of our chat server #EsperNet. Breaking THEIR rules will not only get you banned from #spankyschat, but will get you banned from joining any chatroom located on EsperNet. If your behaviour warrants, action will be taken with the founders of #EsperNet.

#spankyschat is STRICTLY a Neopets SpankysBookWorld Guild chatroom. The chat is reserved for members of SpankaroonieTwo’s Book World and friends. We have the right to ban any person who enters without public discussion. If you feel you have been banned unfairly, please contact a council member.

All users must respect channel operators and realize that their decision is final and must be obeyed. If you have a problem with a channel operator, contact Debra.

• No fighting, no hitting, no scratching, no biting, no being irritating.
• You may only idle in chat if you add AFK or another indicator next to your name. If you are leaving for an extended period of time (example: going to sleep), please exit the chatroom.
• Simply typing /ignore username is the recommended way to avoid someone you dislike.
