So, why am I starting a thread here? Wednesday, August 29 is Isaac's birthday. Anyone who has been in the guild for any time knows Isaac, escapes88, and his generosity. We also know how difficult it is to shop for birthday presents and get him to accept them. So what do you do for someone who has everything?
I know that fans of certain actors and such make birthday donations in their name to their pet causes... so...
Between now and Tuesday, any Zafara book or item with Escape in the name donated to the guild account (need I say 'spankysbookworld') will be noted as a birthday gift. Then on Wednesday we will put the items into trades. Each guild member, regardless of rank may bid a bottle of black or orange sand on any and all lots and we will award the lot to the first bidder (one trade per person).
On Wednesday, I will make a card for Isaac including the names of everyone who donated to this worthy cause in his name.
As always, when we get to that point, please read any books won to your pet.
