Well I remember when I first joined the guild, Jenn was running it and Ray was on council LOL! I also remember it was like the 3rd guild I had joined, and about the billionth I had looked at. I initially joined just because it had Spanky in the title ROFLMAO! I thought guilds were teh lame because of the ones I had been in and seen. Then I came into chat and fell in love with you all and you haven't been rid of me since! I was so honored to be asked to be on Council when the Guild was passed onto Debra, I nearly fainted! I love how close knit we are and how we help eachother out. I have recieved so much help since joining the guild, you guys are all truely so great. -insert a single solitary tear here- I have made so many friends, you all make Neo so much more worthwile 
I also have to mention that my day isin't complete until someone makes me pea in chat XD
I have only been a member for about 8 or 9 months on this account , but what you might not know is that I was actually a member years ago on my old account. This was before I stopped playing neopets for about three years. But as soon as I got back on neopets I looked up ray - to find the guild. And let me tell you, it has only gotten better over the years!

I remember when Hana was on council. Shortly after I joined, she got hacked and left for good. I also remember when Robin and Debra were promoted to subcouncil (and then council, of course).
When I first came into chat, I was very confused (as most people are) with commands such as /nick and /me (/nick was easy to understand, /me took me a few days to figure out). I remember the old online chat (it was beige, I think), and how temperamental it was. PMs were through a small, external window.
I failed my first attempt at the Super Muppet promotion quiz! The second time and my Ultimate Muppet promotion attempt went much more smoothly.
One of the best things about Spanky's is the community aspect of it. I don't think there's another guild that's as close-knit as us! There are some great people here, and that's my main reason for staying here for over 2.5 years!

Happy birthday spankys! I have only joined this guild a few weeks ago but i already love it!
Wow 5 years. I remember when schmelda was on sub council. She was the first person who greeted me to the guild!!! I remember doing the book deals. Is now glad that Robin does them . I miss doing it, but Robin is sooo much better at it than i am!!
Actually..; spanky's saved me from giving up on neopets...
I got hacked, and really didn't see the point anymore so i just decided to do something for my pets with the neopoints i made and stop saving for paintbrushes and stuff...
That's how i got into reading my pets books... and ended up here for the database and some help from other readers....
Thanx to you ppl i got bronze on my booktastics, and i started having fun on neopets again...
And it's true: this guild is filled with helpful and friendly ppl.. even though i don't come into chat often, u dont feel left out...
So hopefully there will be many more years to come
I will be two years in Spankys at the beginning of May. Joining Spanky's was one of the most intelligent things that I have done since I started on neopets. I joined Spankys because so many of the top bookreading pets belonged to the guild and I was reading some books to my pets.
Right from the first I was made to feel welcome. People were so nice and helpful and appeared to want to be friendly. I was made to feel that I belonged, right from the start. I think that this must be the best guild on Neopets and I am very glad that fate led me to join it.

Who cares if the birthday was months ago.. I think it's time I say Happy Belated Birthday!
Well, when I joined, Angela and Ray were the only council members. It seems like eons ago. The only person I talked to when I joined was Josh.
Then I met wonderful people such as Aggie, Jeff, AQ, Emily, Nick, Rich.. oh so many.
And now it is present day. I have met many more wonderful people. I am glad I found this guild back then and I am glad I get to enjoy it with everyone here! If it wasn't for this guild.. I'd have very uneventful, boring evenings!
