I'm having some trouble navigating the forums, so please forgive me if this has been addressed elsewhere...
I'm trying to log in to the Database, but I'm getting the Grey Faerie (not sure which she is), and an "Error 403: Forbidden". And everywhere I go on the site, it's the same thing. Is there an issue that I'm not aware of?
I've been getting that same error all day 
Anyone know how to fix this or do I just have to wait?
This happens every once in a while and you just have to wait. Most of the time it is back in a few hours. There was one time when it was down for days, something to do with the service provider. I learned my lesson to keep a list of books that I had read to my pet, so that I could easily input them into the database. Love that database! 
Missing the database. It has to be tricky to maintain though... here's hoping it is able to be revived

today I bought a retired book I thought my pet needed to read, but it turned out she had allready read it... 
so if anyone want to read nimmo faerie tales i have a spare copy 
I know the same thing happened to me, buying a book already read ... I am really spoiled by the database. I have the Booktastics memorized but there are so many other books it is really hard to keep track of what has been read. I haven't read that book so I will drop you a line. 
Apparently coding gremlins have affected the datatbase ( or it could be Meepits - I don't trust those beasties!). It will need someone who is an expert in coding to sort it out. If I know Spanky's council/sub-council they will already have matters in hand.
The database is a great asset - one perhaps, that we have taken for granted, for it must require a huge amount of input to keep it in order. Thanks to those who do this for it. Let's be patient while the data base is fixed. I know it's a nuisance buying books for your pet which your pet has read already, but books can be resold. Best way we can help now is not to complain and wait until the database it up and running again, with thanks in advance to those coding magicians who can fix this sort of thing.
uh I definately agree with that
I know that lots of work is right now being put into getting it back on track 
and meanwhile, a good idea is to go to the list of the books that your pet has read on neo, and type Ctrl+F and simply search for the title or part of it... there's no way any of us can remember all the books our pets have read 
Good news
The database is back online. Some features have been changed slightly and the import features are disabled while we continue to dig into the problems.
If you get any problems please let me know by email asap. We need to make sure the ISP does not close us down!!!
