Quite a few copies Alien Aisha Invasion are being released now (A lot in TP for around 2.5mil). I managed to buy one directly from the booktastic shop. I was really lucky: i first entered 1000 instead of 10000; got a new screen asking 9532 or so and still managed to get it.

I thought you might enjoy this great n00b story, which occurred within a week or so of my joining Neopets. While playing Cliffhanger, I found a Christmas Paint Brush - GREAT luck! Then, I got a Faerie Quest - more good luck! Since I couldn't use the shop wizard, I went into one of those mega-malls to find whatever I was supposed to get (makeup or something), to find I didn't have enough money to buy it (it was probably vastly overpriced). "Oh no!" I thought, "what if I can't finish the faerie quest? What if the faerie does something BAD to my pet? I'd better get some np right away!" So, I put up for sale everything I owned and wouldn't use: the Mashed Potato with Gravy; the Wooden Blocking Shield; and the Christmas Paint Brush - problem was, I couldn't use the shop wizard to price the items, so I just went by the items' Estimated Values. I sold the Christmas Paint Brush for about 25,000 np. "Wow", I thought, "that's a lot of money!"
The current Trading Post value of a Christmas paint brush is 125,000 np.
Yep.
The fact that I am still slightly bitter about this makes me wonder if I should seek professional help.

Finally made it to the booktastic top 50 again... up to 35 now.. Better start saving up again...
And yeah.. i've been there too... i've even read a rare booktastic book to the wrong pet once, labbed mickeyke when he was a halloween shoyru by accident... lol..

Ahh, things are looking up now, though! Everybody go look at my new Fire Kougra (Tigers_in_the_Sky) and Desert Shadow Hissi (Lord_Nyarlahotep)!!!!! And now I'm a SUPER MUPPET and I feel SOOPARRRRRR!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!!!

I just want to tell you about my best day on Neopets ever:
- It all started when I got the Adam avvie after months and months of saving (avvie 250)
- Then I went to Kelp Restaurant to blow off some of the NP, I went twice and the second time went home with leftovers and the 'Bon Appétit' avvie (avvie 251)
- Then it turns out that the leftovers I got is actually an unbuyable
- I then went to do some Edna quests and after the fifth quest of the day she gives me a 'Snorkle Snout' which I promtly fed to one of my pets (avvie 252)
- besides this I got to spend a lot of NP on books and gourmets for my pet and on a very expensive gallery item for my gallery - and the best thing is I still have plenty of NP leftoverPosted 1 year ago # -
I can't believe my luck today--I got my second Fountain Faerie quest! I had one about 3 months ago and I never used it (after they changed the pet images, I couldn't decide what I wanted). So I got a second one today and used the first to paint a buzz pink (two avatars, yay!). Now I have another free paint job until I figure out what to do with it. And it only cost 35,000 NP... This totally makes up for those random avatars I try for day after day after day but never get.

I consider myself lucky every time a day goes by that Fran doesn't smack me upside the head...
I've gotten 2 FFQs to date (and maybe 3 Space Faerie Qs). First was 99999, painted a buzz for Debra. Second was only 17k, and that's when I retired RP_JJ and gave him is permanent Island Mynci paint job.

That's okay, Mr. Teh Monkeh, I was rs'ing for less than 30 sec when I stumbled upon a Freezing Potion that sat there while I skipped to another page and went back and punched in the amount slowly. ;P Now THAT is luck, hehe!

I suppose I've been quite lucky on Neopets.
A couple of days ago I was trying to restock in a few shops at once, booktastics restocked and I clicked onto the next page.... clicked back and then noticed a "Kreludan Cookie Cookbook" sitting there. I clicked on it expecting to get the "sold out" screen but didn't and actually bought it. There must have been no-one else in the shop!
lolOh and once I won 3 paintbrushes from the fruit machine in one week! My sister was a bit annoyed by that!
I won't mention any of the other things I've won.
I only wish I could be as lucky in real life.

I just got a fire faerie from a random event. Not the most amazing of randoms, but it sure was welcome!
Missed Alien Aisha Invasions in a Booktastic restock... I haven't even ever SEEN that book in the store before, though, so I'm not really surprised that I missed it.

I didn't know that luck was with me when a month ago I snagged Alien Aisha and the Moon Pop Up Book at the Booktastic Shop. Wow! now that I am paying TP prices for the ones I still need, do I see how lucky I was.

And man, I wish I could snag those books at the Booktastic Shop... now that university has started again I won't have any time for restocking at all anymore. Just stocks and dailies for making np for me, I guess.
I've already been given a gigantic archives research paper of the sort professors take sabbaticals to write... you may need to prod me in a few weeks to see if I'm still alive.

I've been getting alot of codestones lately, which I promptly sell and feel slightly closer to Adam. Otherwise I don't get many good RE, mostly just get the random "a blumaroo says hi!" ones. I personally believe that donating to the money tree keeps the ghosts from stealing all my np, but that's just my weirdness.

I agree with you, I donate all the junk items like old boots and rusty cans and I rarely get items or np stolen. I also have been getting a lot of codestones, but that was like a month ago and all I've gotten since is random amounts of neopoints (never more than a hundred)

I'm not sure if this is grave digging in the forums, most of them seem kind of old, anyways, just yesterday, the Greedy Kad dropped me a visit and stole 5k!!! w00t, now I can own him in the battledome haha!

We're slow here, think of it less as grave digging and more as resuscitating
Watch out for that Greedy Kad, he seems to stalk each person for a bit and hit them at least a couple times before wandering away!

I would normally say that it's a good thing that the stock market plumments now and again, because then there are more things at 15... but now I just have a pile of stocks at 7. Whoo.
HOWEVER, I just told King Skarl a joke so bad that he kicked me out of his kingdom and gave me an avatar. Yes!
Also, the mysterious symol hole said that my petpet came out of the hole and looked a bit different... anyone had that happen before? It doesn't seem to mean anything.Posted 1 year ago # -
I don't know about the symol hole, i've never gotten anything better than a "Yay that was fun!". I have the Skarl kicked out avatar too, but I can't get the jester one for some reason.
I hate these luck and chance avatars... They are so tedious, because I have to remember to do them everyday if I want them... lol, and I do!!
