The random presence of Green Apples instead of a Winter themed prize seems to be a bug. Green Apple is item #1 in the Neopets database. In the past they have not always given everyone the same item, but I'm sure that the reason people are getting Green Apples has to do with a bad item number somewhere.

Thanks for helping set the record straight - I was wondering if TNT was deciding to do green apples instead of "forgetting" a day this year.
