Just to clear up any confusion regarding book prices. I do not change the book prices in two particular situations:

1. An item is Tarla’d. The price will eventually rise back to the former value and people should know they are getting a good price or making a good investment.

2. An item is artificially inflated. Very often one or a few people will buy up huge quantities of a book to make it unbuyable. People should know that they should not buy it at that price.

I did have a post a while back on the website about artificially raised prices. When I have time I’ll update this list. Feel free to add additional comments as you find other instances.

I also have a list of Tarla’d books and will try to get it up on the website soon.

Hope this clears things up. I’ll also post this on the website.

I must send a million and one thanks to guild subcouncil member, elcid42. In his free time, he has programmed an upgrade for our database. We have been testing it for a couple of months and just tonight, I have uploaded it to our website.

Our database has always been our pride and joy and is used by many Neopians, not just guild members.

As of tonight, all of your Book, Booktastic, Gourmet, Avatar, Stamp and Battledome information can be IMPORTED!!!!!!

No more spending hours searching for that book because one list shows more than the others. No limits or restrictions on how often you auto-add your data.

This book should NOT be Booktastic and at some point TNT will correct their error. All of the other books released in this group are regular.

I’m not sure what will happen when TNT makes the correction…If they do it correctly your book count will increase and your booktastic will decrease.

You can decide what to do…I just wanted to make sure everyone weighs the risk.

I will NOT be updating the book prices (except the new ones) for a while. Prices are just too wacky lately. Books usually around 5-10K are going for close to 70-80K. Ones usually around 10-20K are going for 2-5K. I just don’t want to make changes that will be changed back in another month.

Be careful not to overpay for books…but on the other hand, you can get some great deals out there.
