Another poll, another nothing. Dr. Strangepork is still working fervidly at maintaining his elusivity, and thankfully very few of our Muppets have whisker issues. Thank goodness Sanjaya didn’t win this contest either, but many of you turned out to be scissor-wielding fiends so I do worry greatly for the safety of folliculites everywhere! But hey, we’re all over the extreme shock of the new layout, so along with adding new councilmembers let’s celebrate with a new poll!

After much consideration and discussion about some very qualified and deserving guild members, Spanky’s Council has finally selected our newest member.

Chad (iluvthecountry) has been an active member almost from the guild’s inception five years ago. He’s in chat whenever he’s online and he’s always willing to help his guildmates. He has helped us with some of our projects in the past and often posts friendly, helpful messages on the message board. We look forward to taking advantage of his many talents.

Foo has decided that she will continue handling promotions and technical member management. Chad will take on our public relations role of welcoming new members and remembering birthdays and trying to help with your general guild questions.

At this time, we are also promoting Richard (elcid42) to subcouncil. Our “management” plan was to have parallel roles on council and sub, but until now we’ve lacked another database junkie. Richard has helped me with our current database and has been very busy of late designing a terrific upgrade, so he seems well suited to the role.

Thank you, Max for all your years of dedication to the guild. We will miss having you on council.

This weeks Muppet of the Week is …….KATIE otherwise know as katiep71!! Our little Brit! We love Katie and her crazy ways. Katie collects petpets and gourmets for Squishy_Squashy2004. She keeps a watch over the gourmet database and keeps the inactive member list in check. Thanks for all you do Katie!
