I’m testing out a different forum system and need people to come sign up and goof around on it. Then I can test some functions and get an idea for how well it might work for us.

It’s made by the people that make Wordpress, the software we run our site on. It’s clean and simple, and we can easily style it to match our website. It should be much easier to track posts that interest you, and keep important topics visible instead of being hidden within sections you never visit.

Anyhow, keep using our regular forum as usual, but come horse around in our test forum if you’d like to help me out.

If you’ve ever wondered why some people who comment on these posts have a beautiful icon next to their name, wonder no more! With a few mouse clicks, you can have one of your very own! Those of you who were around when this site was switched over to Wordpress probably have one or know about them and can just ignore this, or come on along and get a fresh new look for yourself.

They are called Gravatars, and you can read all about them in our Graphics section on the Gravatars page.

We’ll be working on more designs, and can create custom ones if you’d like (email Fran[at]spankaroonietwo). Final design subject to artist’s whim, be forewarned. Of course you can create your own, or find one on the web, any way you do it is fine.
